COMING MAY 1st IN SAN FRANCISCO
On the first anniversary of Cyclone Nargis, Gitameit students will be performing in grand style at Fort Mason Center in San Francisco! Come and join Gitameit for what will undoubtedly be a very special event.

Among the pieces that Gitameit will be performing are Burmese Blessings by Gitameit instructor, Matthew Walton, Gate Gate by Canadian composer and choral director Brian Tate, Thakyin So Mae (Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burnin’), Kachin Myay (The Land of Kachins), Kit Young’s song “For the Real Question” (dedicated to Thomas Buckner and Gitameit Voices), and many other songs.

$25 general admission
$100 Rice Paddy Protector, 1 reserved ticket, plus $75 tax deductible donation to Foundation for the People of Burma.
$500 Saffron Supporter, admission for 2 at the pre-event Mingala Reception with the Gitameit Choir, 2 reserved tickets, plus $350 tax deductible donation to Foundation for the People of Burma.
