Gitameit faculty interviewed on New America Now
U Moe Naing, Director of Gitameit, and Htun Htun, Manager of Gitameit Music Center, sit down with Sandip Roy on New America Now to chat about their musical backgrounds and the history of Gitameit Music Center.
They talk about studying music in Myanmar, discuss Gitameit’s involvement in the Cyclone Nargis relief effort and present some of the songs performed on Gitameit’s first North American tour.
