This is 53 minutes of unbelievable video footage taken and edited together by Burmese citizens. The first 6 and a half minutes was filmed during Cyclone Nargis, and the rest was filmed in the days following the cyclone. The areas in the video that have been completely destroyed are Laputta and Bokalay. The final 10 minutes are extremely upsetting, so be warned.

The Chin So Mae - Gitameit Voices MTV Music Karaoke Video

On their 2007 world tour, the Spizzwinks(?) stopped in Rangoon, Burma (Yangon, Myanmar) and worked with students at the Gitameit Music School. Together, they performed the Burmese poem, “Thekyin So Mei” (Let’s Sing Together) to the tune of the American Spiritual “Keep Your Lamps” from the Gitameit group’s repertoire.

On their 2007 world tour, the Spizzwinks(?) stopped in Yangon, Myanmar and worked with students at the Gitameit Music School. They performed this song from the Spizzwinks(?) repertoire together.
